The Local Church is the Answer to the National,
Ongoing Public School Exit
Churches are uniquely positioned to help families seeking Christian alternatives to public education. The Pastor Plan Initiative (PPi) exists to equip churches with the tools and resources to support homeschooling in their communities.
Southern Baptist Convention 2024
This June, The Pastor Plan will have a booth at the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), where we’ll connect with 20,000 attendees. As likely the only homeschool-focused presence at this influential gathering, we’ll share our vision for church-supported homeschool communities. A strong presence at events like the SBC helps us connect directly with church leaders who can reshape education in their communities.
What We Do:
- Connect exiting public school families with supportive churches
- Advocate for Biblical Education: Promote the importance of Christ-centered education by engaging with church leaders, parents, and educators nationwide.
- Equip pastors with tools and resources to build thriving, long-lasting homeschool ministries
- Create sustainable, church-led Christian education communities in every city
- Provide homeschool scholarships to families in financial need
- Guide families transitioning from public schools to homeschooling
- Offer Customized (free) Training for Churches: Provide workshops, webinars, and one-on-one guidance to help local churches establish and manage effective homeschool ministries.
- Introduce pastors to the Christian Homeschool State Organization leaders in their state.
